Through the contributions of the MGA Editorial Board, led by chairmen Tony Wimpfheimer and Les Schupak, The Met Golfer concentrates on local events, news, people, and issues in the golfing community, and is written specifically for the Met Area golfer. The magazine is mailed directly to the homes of more than 100,000 avid golfers in the tri-state metropolitan area.

Regular features include articles on clubs and courses, instruction, the Rules of Golf, and golf travel destinations. NBC Sports commentator Jimmy Roberts is the magazine's longtime back-page columnist, and a host of outstanding writers and photographers contribute their work to every issue.

The Met Golfer is published five times a year and is free to all members of MGA member clubs.
