ELMSFORD, N.Y. (November 21, 2014) - The MGA recently concluded its annual series of Educational Forums which provided innovative and interactive programming for MGA Members, club leaders, and interested golfers in the Met Area. A wide range of topics were covered including the Rules of Golf, the Handicapping system, golf course maintenance, and caddying.

Turnesa, Beirne, Valentine on Verge of Finals

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (November 21, 2014) - The final round of stage two qualifying for the Web.com Tour will end today and a few locals may be heading to the final stage at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Dec. 11-16. Already gearing up and on their way to the finals are 2014 MGA Player of the Year David Pastore of Griff Harris and 2009 MGA Player of the Year Cameron Wilson of Shorehaven.

Esposito In Second at Champions Tour Q-School

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (November 20, 2014) - After two rounds of play at the Champions Tour Q-School Tournament it is the red-hot Frank Esposito of Brooklake who is in great position to solidify himself a spot on the Champions Tour in 2015. The top five finishers at this week's tournament are exempt on the Champions Tour next season and Esposito currently sits in second place after two rounds.

Esposito Wins Senior PGA Professional National Championship

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (November 17, 2014) - Add Frank Esposito's name to the list of Met Area locals tearing it up on the national golf scene. Recently it was Grant Sturgeon winning the PGA Assistants Championship, and last week it was David Pastore and Cameron Wilson advancing to the final stage of Web.com Tour Q-School.

Locals Head to Florida for Senior PGA Professional National Championship

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (November 13, 2014) - The 26th Senior PGA Professional National Championship begins today and some of the Met Area's top local professionals will tee it up at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Fla. in the hopes of capturing the Leo Fraser Trophy, as well as one of the 35 spots reserved for the 2015 Senior PGA Championship. The tournament will be contested on PGA Golf Club's Ryder and Wanamker courses and features a field of 264 PGA Club Pros.
