Harry Dee

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (December 23, 2014) - Harry Dee, a 66 year member of the PGA of America, died on December 16th at the age of 89.  Dee was the head golf professional at Ridgewood CC in Paramus, NJ for many years and also served as head professional at Scarsdale GC in Hartsdale, NY.  He was named Professional of the Year by the NJPGA in 1966  and served as a national director of the PGA of America.  Harry was also a fine player who participated in two US Opens and two PGA Championships.  His three sons were all fine players and his oldest son Jimmy was a two time MGA Player of the Year ( 1977 & ’78) and the 1978 MGA Ike champion.  The Dees were named the Family of the Year by the Met Golf Writers in 1978.
