ELMSFORD, N.Y. (February 9, 2015) - The winner of the Champions Tour Qualifying School Tournament Frank Esposito of Florham Park, N.J., began his new career this week in Florida. Esposito competed in the Allianz Championship, the second Champions Tour event of the year, this past week at The Old Course at Broken Sound in Boca Raton, Fla. While Esposito didn't play his best, he got his first tournament under his belt, and finished in style with a final round 1-under 71. 

The two-time NJ State Open Champion struggled in his first round, carding a 4-over 76. On day two he fired a 2-over 74, positioning himself well behind the leader. Whether it be Champions Tour, Web.com Tour, or the PGA Tour, your first start as a rookie doesn't always result in a great week, but Esposito made sure to keep plugging along and finish strong with a round under par. Esposito is expected to be back at it this week at TwinEagles Golf Club (Talon Course) in Naples, Fla., for the ACE Group Classic.
