Foley and Wilson Begin Web.com Tour Season

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (January 27, 2015) - 2013 Champion Kevin Foley of Somerville, N.J. returns to the Panama Claro Championship for the beginning of the Web.com Tour season this week. Joining him is five time MGA Champion Cameron Wilson of Rowayton, Conn., who will be playing in the third Web.com event of his career.

Foley, 2008 Ike Champion, won the Web.com season's first event two years ago by one stroke after finishing with an 8-under, 272 four day total. Finishing five shots back of Foley in 2013 was now PGA TOUR superstar Jordan Spieth, who tied for second in last year's Masters. Foley played 15 PGA TOUR events last season and managed to make five cuts and over $85,000. He hopes to earn his second Web.com Tour victory this week and start 2015 off on the right foot.

2014 NCAA Individual champion Wilson, who played for Stanford, looks to make this year his first full season on the Web.com Tour. He earned status by finishing in the top 45 at the Web.com Tour Q-School Finals in December. After Panama, Wilson will tee it up in the second event as well, in Bogota, Colombia. Then, thanks to a sponsor's exemption, he will play in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am on the PGA TOUR.

Also in the field is Marc Turnesa of Rockville Centre, N.Y., who played in six PGA TOUR events in 2014 and made three cuts. Turnesa will be playing in his first Web.com Tour event since 2013.
