Save the Date: Quaker Ridge Women's Pro-Am
Quaker Ridge Golf Club has announced its hosting of a Women's Pro-Am the afternoon of Monday, October 9, in support of the 2018 Curtis Cup, which the club will host next June. The Women's Pro-Am, in which teams must have a lady professional and three amateurs, gives those in the Met Area the rare opportunity to play historic Quaker Ridge, a classic A.W. Tillinghast design that is consistently ranked among the top 100 courses in the U.S.

Co-conducted by The R&A and USGA, the Curtis Cup is a biennial competition between top women amateur golfers from the United States and Great Britain and Ireland (GB&I). Quaker Ridge Golf Club will welcome the 2018 teams for the matches that are scheduled June 8-10. In 1997, the club hosted the prestigious Walker Cup Match for amateur men representing the USA and GB&I teams.
The Women's Pro-Am is limited to the first 25 teams, so early registration is encouraged. The cost to play is $3,000 (tax deductible) per team. For further information about the Quaker Ridge Women's Pro-Am, contact Quaker Ridge Assistant Golf Professional Sara Dickson at email@example.com, or call 914-723-3701. The event will support the initiative of the Curtis Cup, Junior Girls' Golf and the MGA Foundation.
