MINEOLA, N.Y. (March 1, 2021) - Championship registration is now open for the 2021 LIGA season! This year’s schedule offers players the chance to compete at some of the finest venues on Long Island.

The season opens April 29 with the 2021 Richardson Memorial Championship Sponsored Keystone Electronics Corp., with the invitational taking place through May 1 at Wheatley Hills Golf Club.

 

The following month, the 97th Long Island Open Championship heads to Fresh Meadow Country Club June 8-10. Registration and payment must be submitted by May 5 at 5:00 PM EST. Indian Hills Country Club will host one of two local qualifiers on May 24. The second, date currently TBA, will be held at Bethpage State Park’s Red Course.

 

The following week, Noyac Golf Club will host the 98th Long Island Amateur Championship Presented by Sterling National Bank on June 14-17, as the club welcomes the championship for the first time. Registration for this event will end June 9 at 5:00 PM EST.

 

Smithtown Landing Golf Course will host the 100th Long Island Junior, Boys and Girls’ Championships on June 21. Registration for the event will close on June 9 at 5:00 PM EST.
