Inak Captures Long Island Women's Amateur Stroke Play Championship

Farmingdale, N.Y. (July 10, 2018) - Nabila Inak of Met PGA Junior Golf Club followed up her first-day leading 3-under-par 72 with a 73 on Tuesday, July 10 on the Red Course at Bethpage State Park to win the 2018 Long Island Women's Amateur Stroke Play Championship at 5-under par 145.

Danielle Bambola of MGA eClub-Long Island finished second, with a two under par 148 and Meghan O'Mara of West Sayville GC was 3rd, with a 152. 

The Red Course was set up  at 6,090 yards for that flight.

In the First Flight, Young Choung of Bethpage Women's Golf Association won the gross at 172, and, in the Second Flight, Jennifer Kang of Bethpage won the gross at 164.

In the net competitions, Yong Park of EWGA-Long Island won the Championship Flight at 139, Aeja Kim of Fairway Women of Bethpage won the First Flight at 136 and Jeanie Pascale of Eisenhower Park won the Second Flight at 123.
