Dobyns wins PGA Professional National Championship

UPDATED (5:45 p.m., July 1, 2015) - A birdie on the 72nd hole earned Matt Dobyns his second career PGA Professional National Championship, Wednesday at the Philadelphia Cricket Club. Dobyns began the event with an opening round 72, but posted scores of 69, 68 and 70 over the final three rounds for the 279 tournament total, a score of 3-under.

(June 8, 2015) – The U.S. Open Sectional Qualifying round is underway at Century and Old Oaks Country Clubs in Purchase, N.Y. and the field of 71 competitors battling for four spots and two alternates have completed their first round. After 18 holes it’s Scott Dunlap of Duluth, Ga., who leads the way thanks to a phenomenal 3-under 67 at Old Oaks.

(June 4, 2015) - The Road to Chambers Bay continues with Sectional Qualifying, where U.S. Open hopefuls will compete through 36 holes at 10 sites across the United States, one in Japan and one in England. Those who can get through the grueling sectional stage will be on their way to the 115th U.S. Open Championship at Chambers Bay in University Place, Washington on June 15-21.
