Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship Announces “Family Fun” Ticket Package

HARRISON, N.Y.– Just in time for Father’s Day, tournament officials from the Champions Tour have announced a special ticket offer designed to promote a day of family fun this summer at the Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship, a Champions Tour major that will bring 78 of golf’s most accomplished players to Westchester Country Club to compete on August 17-21.

With the purchase of a “Family Fun” ticket package for $40 (plus taxes and applicable fees), fans will receive two adult any day grounds tickets, two youth any day tickets and four meal vouchers valid at any tournament concession stand.

The Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship is one of five major championships on the PGA TOUR’s Champions Tour for eligible professionals age 50 and over. The 2011 event is scheduled for August 17-21 at Westchester Country Club in Harrison, NY. Mark O’Meara won the 2010 Championship at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm in Potomac, MD against one of the strongest fields of the season on the Champions Tour.

O’Meara, along with fellow past Senior Players major champions Jay Haas (2009), D.A. Weibring (2008), Loren Roberts (2007), and Bobby Wadkins (2006) have already committed to compete in this year’s championship.

The tournament has generated more than $8 million for charity since 1992. The 2011 event marks the 29th playing of the Senior Players Championship, making it one of the longest running events on the Champions Tour.
