ELMSFORD, N.Y. (May 5, 2014) - Two-time MGA Player of the Year Mike Miller of Knollwood is already making a name for himself during his first season as a professional. After Monday qualifying to earn a spot in the web.com Tour’s South Georgia Classic, he quickly put himself near the top of the leaderboard and was T-4 going into the second round of play. He finished T-14 after making clutch birdies on 16 and 17, shooting rounds of 68-71-70-72 to help him finish at 7-under for the tournament.

With his top finish, Miller is exempt into the next web.com Tour event, the BMW Chairity Pro-Am, May 12 to 18 in Greenville, South Carolina. The 22-year-old, Brewster, N.Y. native had a sponsor's exemption into the Valero Texas Open in March, giving him his first taste of a PGA Tour event. He’s also been playing on the eGolf Tour where he sits in the top 20 on the Money List.
