Miller, Giuliani move on in European Tour Q-School

ELMSFORD, N.Y (October 9, 2015) -- Mike Miller and Andrew Giuliani, both past MGA Player of the Year winners, have advanced to the 2nd Stage of the European Tour's Qualifying School, after registering top finishes at their respective 1st Stage locations.

Miller, who concluded his season on the Mackenzie Tour with top-10s in each of his last three events, continued his solid play at Frilford Heath Golf Club in England. He carded a 6-under-par 282 total to tie seventh in a field of 59, with his best score of 4-under 68 coming in the final round.

Competing at Bogogno Golf Club in Italy, Giuliani overcame a late double-bogey with a birdie on his 72nd hole to slip into an advancing position. The 2009 Met Open champion had bookend rounds of 71 along with a pair of 72s, for a 2-under-par 286 total.

According to the European Tour, it is anticipated that approximately 310 participants will compete at 2nd Stage, with around 80 moving on to the Final Stage. Four sites in Spain will host 2nd Stage Qualifying, Nov. 6-9.
