MetGCSA hires Mike McCall as Executive Director

An open letter from MetGCSA President, Glen Dube, CGCS:


Dear MetGCSA Members,

I am happy to report that the MetGCSA Board of Directors has hired Mike McCall, CGCS, as our new Executive Director. Mike brings to the position a wealth of knowledge from many years of working at some of the finest clubs across the country, as well as 11 years locally as a Golf Course Superintendent/General Manager. Since leaving the role of superintendent in 2012, Mike has formed his own company and has continued to work closely with Superintendents, the Westchester County IPM Coordinator, State and County Legislators and performs General Management Services for Putnam County. 

He is extremely organized and knowledgeable in the areas necessary to help guide the MetGCSA and we are excited to now have him as part of our team. We look forward to working with him as we continually strive to grow our association and its activities for MetGCSA members to utilize as an important professional resource. 

He will be representing us at the National Conference; however, his official start date is not until March 1st. Please welcome him if you see him in San Diego.
