Desch and Ritchie Capture Mixed Pinehurst

GLEN RIDGE, N.J. (August 31, 2018) – Christine Desch and Kyle Ritchie of Cherry Valley, led the field of 36 teams with a score of 4-under 67 to take the top spot for the 55th MGA/WMGA Mixed Pinehurst Championship today at Glen Ridge Country Club.

Desch and Ritchie were one of two teams who finished the day under par, cardding five birdies on the day. Patrice Franco and Ryan Hom of Nassau Players Club also finished in red figures with a round of 3-under 68, which featured six birdies.

2018 Mixed Pinehurst Champions Yoona Kim and Phil Fabrizio of Edgewood and Knickerbocker respectively, finished in third with a card of 2-under 69.

Glen Ridge Country Club played to 5,995 yards at par 71.
