Kira Provenzano joins MGA as Manager of Membership Development

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (October 1, 2019) – The Metropolitan Golf Association is pleased to welcome Kira Provenzano to its Member Services staff as Manager of Membership Development.

Having most recently served as director of member services and communication at Old Marsh Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Provenzano brings eight years of service-related experience within the golf industry to the new role.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Kira to the MGA team and are looking forward to the opportunities that come with dedicating a full-time position to membership development,” said MGA Director of Member Services Kevin Kline. “Kira brings a variety of valuable experience in the golf industry to the position and will play an important role in helping the MGA meet key membership initiatives.”

“I am so excited to be joining the MGA family as Manager of Membership Development,” said Provenzano, who graduated from University of Rhode Island. “Ever since I started my career in the golf industry, I knew I ultimately wanted to work in the Met Area and now I have the privilege of working for one of the nation's oldest and largest golf associations.”

Provenzano’s career began in her hometown of Princeton, N.J., where she served nearly five years as sales and membership coordinator at MGA Member Club TPC Jasna Polana. In her role, Provenzano worked closely with all departments of the club, overseeing sales and marketing efforts, managing club communications, and coordinating charity events.

Prior to her time in Florida, Provenzano worked as golf shop manager at Ellington Ridge Country Club in Ellington, Conn., where she managed all aspects of retail operations while also organizing special promotions and events focusing on membership experience.

As Manager of Membership Development, Provenzano will assist with executing the vision and strategy for MGA Membership Initiatives. She will work closely with MGA Member Clubs and their representatives through the MGA’s Ambassador Program while also focusing on specific initiatives with MGA Members.

“I look forward to growing the MGA's Membership Initiatives, focusing on public golf development as well as women in golf, so we continue to see the game we all know and love grow and prosper,” said Provenzano.
