MGA Honors' Hall of Merit Welcomes New Class

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (December 15, 2021) -- Since debuting in 2019, the MGA Honors has inducted a new class of golf giants into its Hall of Merit each year. Recipients of the MGA's biggest awards--the Distinguished Service Award and both the MGA Jerry Courville Player of the Year Award and the MGA Junior Player of the Year Award, Presented by Callaway--earn thier spot in the Hall of Achievement and winners of the MGA's three majors and the Met Junior land in the Hall of Champions. Entrance to the Hall of Merit is voted upon, with the idea that the efforts and accomplishments of inductees have helped shape golf in the Met Area and beyond. The 2021 class of Leighton Calkins, Robert Tyre Jones, Jr., Maureen Orcutt and Donald Ross certainly meet those criteria. The MGA is proud to partner with Stifel to continue to expand the visibility and awareness of the MGA Honors across all of its platforms.
