  • Sea Pines Forest Preserve: Trails, wetland boardwalks and bridle paths provide several ways for visitors to explore this 650 acres of protected wildlife habitat. Walk through forests, visit wildflower fields and spot wildlife in marshes—either on your own or through a guided tour.
  • Harbour Town: No trip to Hilton Head Island is complete without setting sights on the candy-striped lighthouse that overlooks a picturesque yacht basin surrounded by boutiques and shops.
  • Baynard Ruins: Listed on the National Register of Historic Sites, the Stoney-Baynard Ruins once served as a plantation home and later housed soldiers during the Civil War. The tabby ruins (mixture of oyster shells, lime and sand) include the original home’s foundation and several outbuildings.
