Pete and Chris Walsh Claim Father & Son Net Tournament

ST. JAMES, N.Y.  (July 30, 2018) - Chris and Pete Walsh of Mahopac claimed the MGA Father & Son Net Tournament with a round of 7-under 64. Coming in second was the father and son duo of Chris and Sean Callahan of Village Club at Sands Point with a card of 5-under 66. 

A match of cards was needed to determine the low gross winner amongst the teams that shot even par 71 with Chris and Palmer Van Tuyl of St. George’s claiming the top honors, while Christopher and Paul Gabriele of Huntington Country Club took second.

The team of Mal Galletta and Malcolm Galletta Jr. of Glen Cove won the pro division with a 2 under 69. 

Nissequogue Golf and Country Club played to a par 71 at 6602 yards.
