Two Events Open for Early Registration
Mill River Club, host of the 93rd MGA Senior Amateur Championship
ELMSFORD, N.Y. (January 30, 2020) – The MGA will open registration for the 93rd MGA Senior Amateur Championship and 28th MGA Senior Net Four-Ball Tournament — the first two events on the 2020 calendar of competitions — on Friday, February 14. The remaining schedule, in addition to the Long Island Golf Association and Westchester Golf Association's 2020 events, will open for registration on Sunday, March 1.

The 93rd MGA Senior Amateur Championship is open to those aged 55 and older with a Handicap Index not exceeding 8.0. The 2020 season-opener takes place May 5-6 at Mill River Club in Oyster Bay, N.Y., where Jim Graham of Winged Foot will aim to defend the first of his two titles won in 2019. Graham also claimed victory in the Senior Masters Tournament. This will be the third MGA championship hosted by Mill River Club, which last hosted the Mixed Pinehurst in 1996.
Meanwhile, the Senior Net Four-Ball will take place May 12 at 12-time MGA championship host Ardsley Country Club in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. The team competition is open to those aged 55 and older with a Handicap Index not exceeding 18.0 and partners do not need to be members of the same club.
