SANDS POINT, N.Y. (March 11, 2022) -- This past summer, the MGA Foundation's cornerstone program, GOLFWORKS, returned to Met Area clubs. In total, 147 GOLFWORKS interns worked at 39 clubs during the summer months, gaining valuable work, golf, and life experiences. In addition to the 147 interns participating in MGA programming, 18 former interns were hired directly by clubs, showcasing the relationships forged between intern and club during the GOLFWORKS program.

Sexton first learned about golf when she started taking part in The First Tee’s after-school programming at the age of nine.
