(August 13, 2009) – Defending champion Peter Kim of Metuchen, N.J., advanced to the semifinals of the 41st MGA/MetLife Boys Championship at Gardiner’s Bay Country Club following two impressive victories. Matt Josephs of Palisades, N.Y., Mark Reilly of Babylon, N.Y., and Michael Giannico of Blue Point, N.Y., will join Kim in the semifinals, which are scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m. on Friday.

Paul Toohey from Mosholu and Steve Fetko from Fairchild Wheeler have been chosen for the Toro Future Leaders Forum which takes place November 12-15 in Orlando, Fla. Caitlin Lopes from Mosholu and Tim Kearan from Eisenhower Park were chosen to attend the Life Skills and Leadership Academy in Eugene, Ore., from July 28-August 4.
