FAIRFIELD, Conn. (July 13, 2016) – The Round of 16 is complete at the 99th Met Junior Championship sponsored by MetLife, as eight juniors have advanced to the semifinals, which are already underway this afternoon. Players were seeded based on their 36-hole stroke play finishes on Tuesday.
FAIRFIELD, Conn. (July 12, 2016) – Christian Cavaliere of Katonah, N.Y., will lead 16 competitors into the match play portion of the 99th Met Junior Championship sponsored by MetLife following a stellar 36-hole total of 5-under 137 at The Patterson Club on Tuesday. Cavaliere led the 62-player field containing the Met Area’s best junior players, taking medalist honors by an impressive eight strokes and being the only player in red numbers.
Middletown, N.Y., (July 12, 2016) - Qualifying for the 114th Met Amateur Championship continued today at West Hills Country Club in Middletown, N.Y. Seven competitors advanced from the 66 man field, with Bobby Diforio Jr. of Maple Moor earning medalist honors at 3-under 69.

Diforio's round included five birdies and two bogeys, and back-to-back birdies on holes 14 and 15 led him to have the low score of the day.

SUFFERN, N.Y. (July 7, 2016) – The final nine of the 69th MGA Public Links Championship featured a crowded leaderboard with several competitors having a shot at claiming the title at Spook Rock Golf Course, but Michael Miranda of Pine Ridge came away with the two-stroke victory, closing the afternoon with a stellar 5-under 67 and a 2-under 142 tournament total.
SUFFERN, N.Y. (July 7, 2016) – Nick Dilio of Casperkill and Gray Barnes of Centennial opened the 69th MGA Public Links Championship at Spook Rock Golf Course with morning rounds of 3-under 69, earning a two-shot lead over a group of four competitors.
ST. JAMES, N.Y. (July 5, 2016) – Qualifying for the 114th Met Amateur Championship began today at Nissequogue Golf Club, where just four qualifying positions (plus ties) were up for grabs out of a starting field of 71. Four players punched their ticket to the championship that will be hosted by Country Club of Fairfield in Fairfield, Conn., August 4-7.

SPRINGFIELD, N.J. (July 30, 2015) – Despite a pair of weather delays during Thursday’s on-site qualifying for the 113th Met Amateur, the 67-man field was able to complete 36 holes of stroke play on Baltusrol’s Upper Course just as dusk settled. However, the 16 positions for match play are not yet final, as an 8-for-3 playoff will be contested on Friday morning, teeing off at 7:30 a.m. The playoff will take place on hole Nos. 1 and 18. Match play will begin immediately after the final three spots are claimed.
SPRINGFIELD, N.J. (July 30, 2015) – On-site qualifying for match play is halfway finished for the Met Amateur, following the completion of the morning round on Baltusrol’s Upper Course. Six players carded under-par rounds in the morning, led by Gregg Angelillo’s 3-under 68.
