The First Tee programs from Plainfield West, Essex County visit MetLife Stadium

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (August 10, 2016) – The First Tee programs of Plainfield West and Essex County traveled to MetLife Stadium for the summer’s second MGA/MetLife Youth Clinic. Upon their arrival, the kids visited The Giants’ training facilities to watch the team practice, where they were treated to autographs from team members at the conclusion of practice.

From there, the First Tee participants were given a tour of MetLife Stadium. The kids learned key details behind managing both the Giants and the Jets at one stadium. Some of the highlights of the tour included The Commissioners Club and The Legacy Club, with The Legacy Club allowing participants of the First Tee programs to see the history of the Giants’ organization. Eli Manning’s locker from the Meadowlands Stadium and the Giants’ four Lombardi Trophies were some of the favorites from this room. The kids also took a walk around the sidelines on the field of MetLife Stadium. The day concluded with lunch and ice cream in MetLife’s VIP suite overlooking the field. It was certainly an exciting day and unique experience for the kids from the First Tee programs.
