(September 29, 2015) – Trevor Randolph of Arcola notched his first-ever MGA victory at the 9^th MGA Mid-Am Championship on Tuesday, as his 1-under 69 in the final round at Nassau Country Club earned him a one-shot win. His two-day total of 137 (68-69) matches the lowest winning total in the young tournament’s history, also being done in 2012 and 2013.

GLEN COVE, N.Y. (September 28, 2015) – Sleepy Hollow’s John Ervasti fired a 6-under 64 in the opening round of the 9^th MGA Mid-Amateur Championship, Monday at Nassau Country Club. His 64 matches the low round in the tournament’s history, and earns him a two-shot lead entering Tuesday’s final round.

WESTFIELD, N.J. (September 24, 2015) – It took four playoff holes, but Ron Vannelli of Forsgate defended his championship in the 4^th Senior Masters Tournament, defeating Steve Rose at Echo Lake Country Club with a birdie three on the par-4 third. The playoff was the first in the tournament’s young history.

UPDATE (September 29, 2015 - 12 p.m.) - The run for Met Area players in the 59th U.S. Senior Amateur at Hidden Creek Golf Club in Egg Harbor Township, N.J., has come to an end, as both George Zahringer and Thomas Hyland were defeated in their Round of 32 matches.

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (September 23, 2015) – The 9^th MGA Mid-Amateur Championship is heading to Nassau Country Club on September 28-29, when the Met Area’s best amateurs over the age of 35 will compete over 36 holes of stroke play to decide a winner. The field of 70 was invited based on top finishes in MGA and Met Area events.
