against Mark Mielke of Mill River to capture the 2013 MGA Senior Open Championship and $5,000 first place prize at Sunningdale Country Club in Scarsdale, N.Y.

Fourteen of out the 54 players who teed it up in the morning were able to shoot under par, led by two-time Met Open champion (’92 and ’08) Mark Mielke of Mill River, who fired a bogey-free 6-under 65. His fantastic front-nine 31 included three birdies and an eagle on the par-5 7th.

Stoltz won the Met Open as an amateur in 2005, the last time it was played at Old Westbury.
