Glenn A. Miller of Brielle, the former superintendent of Manasquan River Golf Club, received the 2011 Distinguished Service Award from the Golf Course Superintendents Association of New Jersey.
The award is presented to a member who has served for at least 25 years and has contributed to the cause of improving golf turf and the advancement of the course superintendent profession.
NEW YORK, N.Y. (January 24, 2012) – On Tuesday, January 24, The First Tee of Metropolitan New York Young Benefactors hosted its 2012 Kickoff Event at Drive 495, the Manhattan golf and fitness center hosting The Met Golfer Makeover, which is owned by two-time MGA Jerry Courville Sr. Player of the Year Joe Saladino and his brother, Don.
ELMSFORD, N.Y. (January 22, 2012) - 2007 Met Open Champion and accomplished Met Area professional Frank Bensel joined familiar partner Kevin Morris of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., in winning the duo's third title at the PGA Winter Championships Senior-Junior Team Championship.
