May 12, 2011 – One of the most decorated local professionals in golf history, Yonkers, N.Y., native Doug Ford was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame on Monday, May 9, in St. Augustine, Fla. Ford, who won the 1955 PGA Championship, 1957 Masters and 1956 Met Open, collected 19 PGA Tour victories over his career. Ford was also a four-time member of the United States Ryder Cup team, helping the U.S. to three victories.

WEST ORANGE, N.J. (May 3, 2011) – Peter Rubeo of Mohansic Golf Club and teammate Anthony Sarlo of Sprain Lake Golf Club won the 19th MGA Senior Net Four-Ball Tournament at Rock Spring Club in West Orange, N.J. with a score of 12-under-par 59.

April 12, 2011– Former Tuxedo Golf Club head professional Dave Carazo, PGA Life Member, was honored as the recipient of the 2010 Professional of the Year Award at the 49th Annual Metropolitan PGA Educational Forum, presented by Nike Golf at the Westchester Broadway Theatre in Elmsford, N.Y.
