Winners Crowned in Men's Four-Ball Championship
DEAL, N.J. (October 23, 2023) – After a four-hole playoff, Rex Whitehorn & Jonas Young-Borra of Lake Success Golf Club won the 46th MGA/MetLife Men’s Four-Ball Championship at Deal Golf and Country Club. Whitehorn and Young-Borra, along with Jose Medina & Steve Haggerty of Blue Hill Golf Association both carded net rounds of 14-under, making it necessary for a playoff to determine a champion.

After a great back-and-forth over the course of the first three playoff holes, Whitehorn and Young-Borra made par on hole 18, the fourth playoff hole, to clinch the championship. Medina and Haggerty earned second place in the Net Division after finishing runner up in the playoff.
In the Gross Division, Whitehorn and Young-Borra finished at 6-under 65, which was low round of the day. However, the duo was ineligible for the Gross title since they finished first in the Net Division. Five birdies and an eagle led Rick DePetris & Adrian Pervuhin of Southampton Golf Club to the division title as the group carded a 4-under 67 on the day.
