Dan Goldstein Leads After Day One of LI Mid-Am

 

PLANDOME, N.Y. (August 8, 2022) – The first round of play at the 2022 LI Mid-Amateur Championship at Plandome Country Club concluded  Monday with 41 players moving onto Tuesday with scores of 79 or better.

Dan Goldstein of Wheatley Hills Golf Club led the way after shooting an impressive 4-under 67. He made four birdies on the front nine to start the day off strong. Darin Goldstein of Deepdale Golf Club made six birdies on the day and carded a round of 2-under 69. Shawn Rogol of Old Westbury Golf & Country Club was the only other player to finish under par today after shooting 1-under 70.

Darin Goldstein, Dan Goldstein and Shawn Rogol will look to continue their dominant play tomorrow. Players will tee-off at 7:30 AM.
