April 29, 2001--The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association held its 8^th Annual Scholar/Athlete Luncheon at Pines Manor in Edison, NJ in which representatives from 322 schools received continuing education scholarships.  The Metropolitan Golf Association Foundation contributes two $250.00 scholarships to one male and one female each year as part of the scholar athlete program.  The recipients for this year’s MGA Foundation scholarship were Deborah Komorowski of Bogota High School, and Aditya Dighe of Woodbridge High School.  To honor and recognize outstanding student athletes, the MGA Foundation has contributed this scholarship annually at the Scholar Athlete Luncheon since its inception in 1994.
