Young Takes Home Major AJGA Event

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (November 29, 2013) - 2013 Met Junior champion and Met Area standout Cameron Young of Scarborough, N.Y., captured one of the biggest events of his young career on Friday at the AJGA Polo Golf Junior Classic, a major event on the AJGA schedule.

Playing in only his second AJGA event, the junior at Fordham Prep in the Bronx outlasted a field that included some of the best junior players in the world at PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Past winners of the Polo Golf Junior Classic include Tiger Woods, Hunter Mahan, Erik Compton, Morgan Hoffmann, and Stewart Cink.
