Miller, Bernstein, and Puetz at Stage Two of European Tour Q-School

UPDATED 9:23 a.m. (November 10, 2014) - The second stage of European Tour Q-School ended today and despite some great play from the locals, none of them will move on to the final stage.

Mike Miller of Knollwood was even par after all four rounds with scores of 74, 71, 75, and 68, but he fell just short of advancing. 17 spots were up for grabs at the Campo de Golf El Saler and Miller tied for 21st, missing a trip to the final stage by just two strokes. He will have to refocus quickly, as he gets ready to head to the second stage of Web.com Tour Q-School on Tuesday November 18 at Plantation Preserve Golf Course and Club in Plantation, Fla.

At Las Colinas Golf & Country Club 17 more spots were there for the taking, but Timothy Puetz of Huntington and Sam Bernstein of Century did not advance to the final stage. Puetz tied for 27th with a 5-under total, missing the mark by just two shots, while Bernstein finished at 12-over par.

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (November 4, 2014) - While many of the Met Area locals are gearing up for the second stage of Web.com Tour Q-School, some others are heading to Spain for stage two of European Tour Q-School. For Mike Miller of Knollwood, he has to be ready for both.

Before Miller heads to Plantation, Fla. for stage two of Web.com Tour Q-School on November 18, he will first tee it up this Friday in Valencia, Spain at the Campo de Golf El Saler for the second stage of European Tour Q-School. The two-time MGA Player of the Year fired a four round total of 8-under 280 in the first stage in England, with scores of 69, 69, 72, and 70. He will be battling for a spot in the six round final stage that will take place Novemeber 15-20 at the PGA Catalunya Resort in Girona, Spain.

Also heading to stage two in Spain is Met Amateur semifinalist Sam Bernstein of Century and Timothy Puetz of Huntington, who tied for second at the Met Open. Puetz advanced to the second stage with a four round total of 7-under 281 in Italy, while Bernstein tied for eighth in the first stage in France, with a total of 4-under 280. They will both take on Las Colinas Golf & Country Club in Alicante, Spain starting Friday.
