Curtis Cup Starts Friday at Quaker Ridge

The 2018 Curtis Cup begins at Quaker Ridge Golf Club this Friday! The Curtis Cup Match is a biennial international women’s amateur golf competition between eight-player teams from the United States of America and Great Britain and Ireland (GB&I). It consists of six foursomes (alternate-shot) matches, six four-ball matches and eight singles matches over three days of competition. Both the U.S. and GB&I teams are filled with talent from young players, and they'll take on Quaker Ridge in what promises to be an exciting weekend right here in the Met Area.

The U.S players are:

  • Kristen Gillman, 20, of Austin, Texas
  • Jennifer Kupcho, 20, of Westminster, Colo.
  • Andrea Lee, 19, of Hermosa Beach, Calif.
  • Lucy Li, 15, of Redwood Shores, Calif.
  • Sophia Schubert, 22, of Oak Ridge, Tenn.
  • Lauren Stephenson, 20, of Lexington, S.C.
  • Lilia Vu, 20, of Fountain Valley, Calif.

Friday, June 8 and Saturday, June 9:

9:05 a.m. Four-Ball Matches

3:40 p.m. Foursomes Matches

Sunday, June 10:

12:50 p.m. Singles Matches

There is no charge for admission or parking; all parking will be off-site at Manhattanville College, 2900 Purchase St, Purchase, NY 10577.  You may reserve up to four (4) tickets each day.

The Curtis Cup will also be broadcast live on FS1 through the USGA's partnership with Fox.

Viewing Schedule:

Friday, June 8: 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., 5-8 p.m.
Saturday, June 9: 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., 5-8 p.m.
Sunday, June 10: 1-6 p.m.
