The LPGA*USGA Girls Golf of Greater Newark program has received a grant for 2019 from the foundations in support of their upcoming 7th Annual Invitational, plus additional travel and playingopportunities for their girls, ages 7-17. The program is based at the Galloping Hills Learning Center in Kenilworth, N.J. and led by LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Site Director Beverly Harrison.
There are more than 500 LPGA*USGA Girls Golf sites across the U.S. The program was launched in 1989, and to-date more than 80,000 girls have participated. The key components of the program focus not only on golf instruction, but also on confidence building, fun experiences, and life skills.
The MGA Foundation is pleased to work alongside the Gregory Boff Charitable Foundation in New Jersey to identify charitable opportunities that offer young people life-changing experiences through golf.
