Live From: 23rd Callaway MGA Senior Open

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (August 26, 2019) -- Shaun Powers of Fairview carded a 2-under 69 on Tuesday at Metropolis Country Club, earning a two-shot victory in the 23rd Callaway MGA Senior Open Championship for his first-ever MGA title. Though decorated competitors such as Frank Esposito, Jr., of Forsgate and three-time Met Open champion Mark Brown of Tam O'Shanter made runs down the stretch, Powers remained poised and focused, shutting the door with big birdies on Nos. 14-15 before making pars on his final three holes.
