ELMSFORD, N.Y. (May 10, 2012) - Calling all golfers: if you've ever wanted to compete in a tournament setting with friends or other players of your skill level, now's your chance. MGA Play Days are tournament-caliber outings where you can tee it up with other MGA members at fantastic venues around the Met Area. The 2012 schedule, which was just announced, features a great mix of private and public courses in New York and New Jersey. A second date for a Long Island venue will be announced soon.

Each Play Day is a one-day tournament for all men and women of all ability levels. For $75, players will get 18 holes of golf at a great venue, cart, range balls (where available), continental breakfast and lunch. Prizes will be awarded for net and gross finishes.

The 2012 schedule is as follows:

• Tuesday, June 5 - Centennial Golf Club, Carmel, N.Y., 8 a.m.
• Thursday, June 28 - Shackamaxon Country Club, Scotch Plains, N.J., 8 a.m.
• Thursday, July 12 - The Golf Club at Mansion Ridge, Monroe, N.Y., 8:30 a.m.
• Wednesday, September 5 - Royce Brook Golf Club (West Course), Hillsborough, N.J., 8 a.m.
• Wednesday, September 12 - Spook Rock Golf Course, Suffern, N.Y., 8 a.m.
• Tuesday, October 16 - Olde Vine Golf Club, Riverhead, N.Y., 9 a.m.
• Monday, October 22 - Salem Golf Club, North Salem, N.Y., 9 a.m.
• Second LI date to be announced soon.
