WGA Championship Registration Now Open

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (March 1, 2021) -- The 2021 Westchester Golf Association championship schedule is now open to registration, once again offering area players the opportunity to compete for historic championships at a variety of outstanding venues.

The season begins with the WGA Public Links Championship, May 24 at Sterling Farms Golf Course. The deadline is May 5 and the event also serves as a qualifier for the 73rd MGA Public Links Championship at Pound Ridge Golf Club.

Similarly, the WGA Junior and Boys' Championships, taking place June 30 at Westchester Hills Golf Club in White Plains, N.Y., serve as qualifying rounds for the 104th Met Junior Championship Sponsored by MetLife at Tuxedo Club and the 53rd MGA/MetLife Boys' Championship at Gardiner's Bay.

The WGA's trio of amateur championships -- the Amateur, Senior Amateur and Super Senior Amateur -- head to first-time host Paramount Country Club, July 6-8. Registration closes on May 12. Qualifying for the Amateur bracket takes place May 17 at Mahopac Golf & Beach Club, while Senior and Super Senior competitors vie for the match play positions at Salem Golf Club on May 24.

The 99th Westchester Open Championship will return to GlenArbor, July 19-20. Registration closes on May 19, with qualifiers taking place May 26 at Rockland Country Club and then Redding Country on June 15.
