ShopRite LPGA Classic Returns to the Seaview Golf Club

The ShopRite LPGA Classic will return to southern New Jersey after a three-year absence from the Tour. The Tour stop will be played from June 14 – 20, 2010 and will once again take place on the Seaview Resort's historic Donald Ross links-design Bay Course. The 54-hole official event will offer a $1.5M purse and will be televised on the Golf Channel.

Cameron Wilson Wins MGA Player of the Year Honors

October 29, 2009 – Cameron Wilson of Shorehaven Golf Club in Norwalk, Conn., capped off the best season of his young career by winning the 2009 MGA Jerry Courville Sr. Player of the Award. The high school senior, who turns 17 on November 2, accumulated 880 points for the season to edge out 2009 Ike Champion Mike Ballo Jr. and become the youngest MGA Player of the Year ever.

Starting off in New Jersey, the NJSGA award was shared by 2007 MGA Senior Amateur champion Jay Blumenfeld of Mountain Ridge and Mike Deo of High Bridge Hills.
