Local Assistants in Florida for National Car Rental PGA Assistant Championship
UPDATED 5:17 p.m. (November 2, 2014) - Grant Sturgeon of Mamaroneck, N.Y. claimed the 38th National Car Rental PGA Assistant Championship today at PGA Golf Club's Wanamaker Course in Port St. Lucie, Fla. with a final round score of 7-under 65. That gave Sturgeon a four day total of 13-under 275.
Met Area Locals at Q School
ELMSFORD, N.Y. (October 23, 2014) - A number of top Met Area players are taking their games to the next level this fall and attemting to earn status on the Web.com Tour through "Q School." The First Stage has now completed and several Met Area locals have advanced to the Second Stage in November and ultimately the Finals at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens on December 11-16.
