100th Met Open champion Ben Polland

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (July 28, 2016) - Qualifying has begun for the 101st Met Open Championship, which takes place August 22-24 at Glen Oaks Club in Old Westbury, N.Y. The MGA's premier championship is the third oldest Open in the country and with names like Walter Hagen and Gene Sarazen engraved upon the Walker L. Trammell Trophy, there's no wonder it's the most sought-after event in the Met Area.

This year, qualifying to complete the field is taking place at six sites throughout the Met Area.
