Thirteen competitors advanced from the original field of 103, with amateur Paul Pastore of MGA eClub - Westchester/Fairfield earning medalist honors at 6-under 65.

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (July 27, 2016) – Sixteen of the Met Area’s most talented young golfers will head to Bedford Golf and Tennis Club in Bedford, N.Y., for the 48th MGA/MetLife Boys Championship, July 28-29. Qualifying for boys not yet 16 years old took place throughout July to determine the top 16 players who will compete in match play at the event.

PELHAM, N.Y. (July 18, 2016) – Qualifying for the 114th Met Amateur Championship concluded today at Pelham Country Club, where a total of seven players advanced to the Country Club of Fairfield in Fairfield, Conn., for the championship, August 4-7.

UPDATE (July 22, 2016, 5:30 p.m.) - John Pak's birdie on the par-3 16th hole ultimately forced extra holes in his semifinal match against Noah Goodwin of Corinth, Texas, but Goodwin's eagle-three on the second hole ended Pak's run in the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship, early Friday evening at The Honors Course in Ooltewah, Tenn.
UPDATE (July 20, 2016) - South Salem, N.Y., native Kyra Cox's run in the 2016 U.S. Girls' Junior Championship has come to an end after being defeated by Andrea Lee by a 3&2 margin, Wednesday at The Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, N.J.

Christian Cavaliere of Katonah, N.Y., Connor Daly of Bronxville, N.Y., Max Theodorakis of Danbury, Conn., and John Felitto of Mountainside, N.J., all notched a pair of wins, keeping their hopes alive to hoist the Mandeville Trophy on Thursday.
