ELMSFORD, N.Y. (Updated July 10, 2013) - Sectional qualifying for one of the nation's oldest and prestigious amateur championships, the 111th Met Amateur, has completed at five sites around the Met Area. 

Over 700 Met Area amateurs competed for one of the select spots in this year's championship, which will be held at the beautiful Stanwich Club in Greenwich, Conn., from August 1-4. It is annually one of the most difficult competitions to qualify for, as players will have to likely shoot near even-par to make the cut.
