Live From: 119th Met Amateur
EDISON, N.J. (August 1, 2021) -- Garett Engel of Old Westbury erased a two-hole deficit in the afternoon of the 119th Met Amateur Championship, coming back to defeat Trevor Randolph of Arcola by a 3-and-2 margin at Plainfield Country Club.
The victory is Engel's second MGA championship, having won the Met Junior Championship 20 years ago. Full recap to come.
