PURCHASE, N.Y. (June 3, 2019) -- Recent Wake Forest graduate Cameron Young of Scarborough, N.Y., fired rounds of 69-68, Monday at Old Oaks Country Club and Century Country Club, leading four players earning spots in the 119th U.S. Open Championship at Pebble Beach. Young's 4-under earned him medalist honors by five shots, while Andy Pope of len Ellyn, Ill., and amateur Matt Parziale of Brockton, Mass., finished at 1-over 142. Rob Oppenheim secured the final slot in a playoff after matching Kelly Kraft of Dallas, Texas at 2-over 143.
