ELMSFORD, N.Y. (September 12 , 2014) –The Metropolitan Golf Association’s youngest championship, the Senior Masters Tournament, is set for its third playing on Monday, September 15 at the Rockaway Hunting Club in Lawerence, N.Y. Seventy-two amateurs aged 65 and over (with a Handicap Index not exceeding 10.0) will compete in the 18-hole stroke play competition to determine the top super senior in the Met Area.  

UPDATED: (October 3, 2014) - After an 18 hole playoff, Gale Brudner of GlenArbor and Michael Karger of Century became the 51st MGA/WMGA Mixed Pinehurst Champions. The team of Brudner and Karger defeated Rob Zuch and Dani Mullin, both of Southward Ho, in the playoff in after both teams shot matchi

UPDATED 4:03 p.m. (September 16, 2014) - Al Small led his Round of 32 match for 15 holes, even by as many as 4 up through nine holes. His opponent Chris Hall finally squared the match on the 16th and then proceeded to win in stunning fashion by claiming the final two holes for a 2 up victory. It was a good run for Small and he nearly advanced to the Round of 16 for the first time in his U.S. Senior Amateur career, but came up just short.

UPDATED 8:00 p.m (September 16, 2014) - Sherry Herman and Laura Algiero's  runs at the U.S. Senior Women's Amateur came to an end when they were both defeated in the Round of 16 matches on Tuesday afternoon.

MT. SINAI, N.Y. (September 3, 2014) - Thirty two father and son teams competed today in the Father & Son Net Championship at Willow Creek Golf & Country Club in Mt. Sinai, N.Y.
