MAMARONECK, N.Y. (October 14, 2015) – 56 teams of two took to the field at Hampshire Country Club in Mamaroneck, N.Y. in the hopes of becoming the 31st MGA/MetLife Women’s Four-Ball Champions. In the end, it was last year’s champions that would emerge victorious once again. After an impressive round of 6-under 65, Susan Canarick and Janet Mazza from the Glen Cove Women’s 18 Holers retained their title and became two-time champions.

SUMMIT, N.J. (October 14, 2015) – The MGA’s annual Presidents Council Fall Conference was held on October 13, as more than 150 leaders from member clubs convened at Canoe Brook Country Club to learn about trends and issues affecting area clubs. The Presidents Council Fall Conference is part of the MGA Foundation’s series of educational programs, and features presentations from industry leaders.

ELMSFORD, N.Y (October 9, 2015) -- Mike Miller and Andrew Giuliani, both past MGA Player of the Year winners, have advanced to the 2nd Stage of the European Tour's Qualifying School, after registering top finishes at their respective 1st Stage locations.

UPDATE (10:30 am, October 5, 2015) - Match play is officially underway at the U.S. Mid-Am and the Met Area's own Brian Komline earned himself the 4th seed, teeing off at 11:10 am. Komline will go head to head against the 61st seed, Reid Hatley of Hayden Lake, Idaho.

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (September 30, 2015) – The outstanding 2015 MGA championship season will come to a close with the biennial Governor Hugh L. Carey Challenge Cup, October 19-21, when six MGA amateurs will face the Golfing Union of Ireland at Metedeconk National Golf Club in Jackson, N.J.

GLEN COVE, N.Y. (September 29, 2015) – Trevor Randolph of Arcola notched his first-ever MGA victory at the 9^th MGA Mid-Am Championship on Tuesday, as his 1-under 69 in the final round at Nassau Country Club earned him a one-shot win. His two-day total of 137 (68-69) matches the lowest winning total in the young tournament’s history, also being done in 2012 and 2013.

GLEN COVE, N.Y. (September 28, 2015) – Sleepy Hollow’s John Ervasti fired a 6-under 64 in the opening round of the 9^th MGA Mid-Amateur Championship, Monday at Nassau Country Club. His 64 matches the low round in the tournament’s history, and earns him a two-shot lead entering Tuesday’s final round.
