Mark Mielke Wins 19th MGA Senior Open

ROSLYN, N.Y. (September 1, 2015)Mark Mielke turned in the only even-par score in Tuesday’s final round of the 19th MGA Senior Open at the Engineers Country Club, as he tallied a 2-under 140 tournament total for a two-shot victory. Mielke, the only player to finish the 36-hole event under-par, now owns four career MGA titles, adding to his 1987 Public Links and 1992 and 2008 Met Open titles.

(August 31, 2015) – Tuesday’s final round of the 19th MGA Senior Open will feature a packed leaderboard after 12 players shot rounds of even-par or better at the Engineers Country Club on Monday. Greg Baker of Rockaway River, David Young of Sleepy Hollow and reigning champion and amateur Adam Kugler of Alpine set the opening round pace, all carding 3-under 68s.

ROSLYN HARBOR, N.Y. (August 31, 2015) – Humid, calm conditions have led to several under-par scores early in the 19th MGA Senior Open at Engineers Country Club, with reigning champion and amateur Adam Kugler of Alpine among the championship’s early leaders.

Kugler and Greg Baker of Rockaway River each carded 3-under 68s Monday morning to stand atop the early leaderboard. The 122-man field continues single-tee start times until 2:46 p.m.
