ELMSFORD, N.Y. (July 12, 2013) - The final field is set for the 96th Met Junior Championship Sponsored by MetLife as 64 of the Met Area’s finest junior golfers will take on Fairview Country Club in Greenwich, Conn. beginning on August 16. One of the strongest fields in recent history will compete for the nation’s oldest junior championship, which dates back to 1912.

DANBURY, CONN. (July 11, 2013) - Adam Larkin of Bethpage holds the lead midway through the 66th MGA/MetLife Public Links Championship after an impressive 3-under 69 at Richter Park Golf Course.

Larkin, who's entering his senior year at Farmindgale State, went out with a 4-under 32, but recorded his only bogey of the round on his final hole.

UPDATED: July 11 - 8:20 pm : After the first round of the U.S. Senior Open at Omaha Country Club, Peter Busch and Mark Mielke are  leading the Met contintengent and are both tied for 33rd after rounds of 1-over 71. Bruce Zabriski is one shot back at 2-over, and amateur George Zahringer and Nelson Long are also still right in the mix after shooting 3-over.
